The design process involves taking in your thoughts, lifestyle and requirements and transcribing them into a individually tailored design for your property.

Having a landscape design is important as it enables you to get to know exactly what you will be getting and enable an accurate fair tendering process. Most councils require landscape drawings to be submitted with any council permit requiring works.

The amount of landscape designing depends on the complexity of the property and requirements. The most common process is:

Site analysis
A survey and measurements taken, all utilities marked to plan and any other environmental aspects taken into account and marked to a base plan.

Concepts
A few sketched drawings are made off the Base plan and with accompanying 1st person perspective views, to show some different design ideas and themes and presented to clients with samples and reference pictures.

Final Concept
The client's chosen design and any supplementing ideas is made to scale, coloured and noted thoroughly. An accompanying selection of perspectives and references for materials and styles is usually included.

Planting plans
Plants are shown in mature growth and listed to plan. The client's wishes in colours, smells and favourite blooms are included to correct climatic and site conditions.

Construction drawings
Often required for any complex works or council permits. More often than not, if the Natures Balance team is to be building the design, the gardens can be capably built from the Final Concept.
